In 1986, the founder of Miller Injury Attorneys, John C. Miller, Jr., received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then obtained his Juris Doctor (law degree) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1989.

Experience as a Former Insurance Defense Attorney

Possessing a comprehensive knowledge of personal injury, Mr. Miller began his career as an insurance defense lawyer. For the past 15 years, however, he has dedicated himself to prosecuting cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs in Sacramento. His previous work for the insurance companies and their clients, including being a partner in a large, well-known insurance defense law firm, has provided him with invaluable insight regarding the prosecution of plaintiffs cases against them.

Heavily Involved in the Legal Community

Admitted to practice law in California since 1989, Mr. Miller is a member of:

• The State Bar of California (Litigation Section)
• Sacramento County Bar Association
• Consumer Lawyers of California

Mr. Miller serves as a settlement conference judge and mediator for a number of California counties. Attorney Miller is also a pioneer in toxic mold cases. Toxic mold can be extremely dangerous because it can result in lifelong health problems including chronic asthma, respiratory disease, joint pain, and severe headaches.

Speaking Engagements & Published Works

Due to his reputation as a skilled legal practitioner, Mr. Miller has lectured to thousands of individuals across the nation on various legal issues, including teaching a variety of continuing legal education courses. Audiences for these lectures are comprised of various trade organizations and businesses, as well as lawyers and judges. In addition to seminars, lecturing, and teaching, Mr. Miller is a published author. He has been published by numerous authorities throughout California and nationally, including:
